What is Online Backup?
Online backup gives you the opportunity to securely backup your important information on a stable server. All our servers have the latest RAID technology to ensure that your data is always safe. This method of data storage helps you to back-up specific critical information from your computer to a safe place if any problems occur on your computer. You will also have immediate access to your important information on our servers.
Privacy of information?
How do I keep all my files stored private? Our servers are encrypted with strong security measures to ensure your data is always safe and secured. Both when it is transferred to our server AND while it is being stored. You receive an Encryption Key that nobody can use except you to access your data.
Won't it cost a lot to back up all my info?
You are only going to backup your most critical data like your e-mail data file and important documents. Every time you add your next backup, say on the same file e.g. a Word Doc, then the server will only save the information added on and not the whole document every time. On average, this should be no more than 1GB - 5GB per person depending on how many document you have.
Starting from R55 per month (for 2 GB of data) it is not only affordable but a necessity for anyone who owns a computer and has something of value on it.
